Bizarre Day!

My title, very well put I think.

This is how my day was:

10:00-Slept in, my son never does this, so I got a rare extra few hours of sleep. Which is great cause I was worried about not getting enough sleep before tomorrow when I go to work at 6am.

12:00-Laid Josiah down for his nap and then I started doing my regular afternoon chores.

• Diaper Laundry(from start to finish)
• 1 load of regular laundry (from start to finish)
• 1 load of Josiah's laundry(sheets and bedding washed)-still running
• Made bed
• Put away clean dishes

After all that's done I rest/blog/read blogs/check emails while watching Netflix.

So while I was doing all this ///ing ;) I discovered a Free Trial from Jessica Alba's The Honest Company.

Then I went to check on my YouTube subscriptions that I follow and I see if I have any messages and lo and behold...I won the Citrus Lane Giveaway!

One of the ladies that I am following mentioned a review and giveaway. 

I never win these things, NEVER, EVER!

I've been trying enter giveaways ever since I found out I was pregnant with my son.

Finally my golden moment arrived!

So this was all the good things that have happened to me today.

Here was the not-so-good thing... :/

I was driving to Walmart to get more soil for my vegetable and flower plants.

Right there on Mission street my car decided to over heat!!!

AHHH!

I was able to pull over safely on the side of the road and not even moments later a police officer arrives.

He was just checking to be sure that I was OK.

I told him that I was fine, I just have to call my husband at work.

He drove by quite a few times to make sure that a momma and her baby were safe till my hubby got there.

Finally Ben got to us and was able to get my car safe enough to drive to Walmart and home.

I have had my old Geo Metro over heat on me before, but I didn't pull over in time. 

I was in the clear this time! Pull over before it damaged my engine. I'm so glad about that, I love my car.

I have had worse days, this one thankfully turned out OK.

No one got hurt, I didn't cry, and Ben didn't get in trouble for leaving work to rescue his wife.

It took me an hour longer than I wanted too, but oh well, you can't always get what you want, right?
