5 week update

So the little man is a just over 5 weeks now, and he is GROWING like a weed! Literally growing right before my eyes. He is even starting to smile now, and it is the cutest toothless smile I have ever seen. Hopefully soon I can catch a good one on a pic to show you all.
However he is a picky little thing, I can hardly get him into jeans or any thing slightly starchy at all, otherwise he just wiggles and fusses like no tomorrow. Just like his daddy, the clothing has to be soft, comfortable and well fitting. :) He also is picky about his bottle nipples, he will only take two different kinds now.
Recently I have discovered gDiapers, in which a few friends have been using already so I have decided to try them. I wanted to do regular cloth diapers in the first place but I didn't really want to deal with the pinning and the cleaning of the entire diaper. But if they are as easy as the gDiapers I'm willing to give it a shot. I have one on order right now, and I have a few cloth diaper material that I'll just sew to fit. If its something that I don't mind doing, then I'll purchase more.

Not sure what gDiapers really are...

The gDiaper is a brand of semi disposable diapers which claims to have environmental integrity.

Loving being a mommy!

Josiah is two weeks old now, and he is literally growing right before my eyes...he is already starting to grow out of his newborn clothes, but his 0-3 month clothes are still too big for him! :)
I wasn't sure how soon everything is suppose to happen with babies, but he is already starting to hold up his head pretty well. It kinda scares me sometimes though because he throws his head back when I'm least expecting it.
He is such a wiggle worm while awake, I don't believe that I have been able to have him sit on my lap without him moving his arms and legs so much, I do love it though! It definitely keeps me busy! :)
When Ben and I are in bed...trying to sleep...and Josiah won't sleep anywhere but in the bed with us, or on my chest, he slowly scoots up closer to my chin during the night, to the point that I have to push him back down lower just to be comfortable sleeping again. I do love him being so snuggly.

I am missing the fact that I haven't been able to sleep for 6 hours straight. But somehow I feel refreshed everyday, I have been able to keep up with the housework(somewhat), run errands around town, and still have enough energy to play with Josiah, or conversate with Ben when he gets home from work. I am loving being a stay at home mommy, and I hope it lasts a long time. It has been a little difficult for me to stay at home all the time, because I used to work full-time, while being able to keep up with the house, and be involved in various activities. So lately I have been trying to keep myself occupied by doing more crafty things and being more creative with my cooking. :) So that's my life right now, and I'm lovin it!

I love this pic of Daddy and Josiah, taking an afternoon nap.
